These terms explain shopping with Aussie DIY Solutions through aussiediysolutions.com, including product selection, delivery, warranties and support. Please read them with the product information and order details supplied at checkout. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Product selection and suitability
Check the product name, material, dimensions, colour, roll length, roof profile and kit inclusions before ordering. Photos and colour samples are a guide; please contact us if you need help choosing a product or matching a colour. Custom lengths and other special requirements should be confirmed with our team before purchase.
Mesh products have different uses. Gutter guard, ember guard, ventilation screening and solar panel bird protection are distinct applications. Refer to the relevant product specifications and installation guidance. Where bushfire requirements apply, confirm that the product and installation method meet the requirements for your property with an appropriately qualified professional.
Orders, prices and payment
The selected product options, quantities, product price and applicable delivery charges are shown during checkout. Review those details and provide accurate contact and delivery information before completing your order. Keep your order confirmation as a record of your purchase.
If you notice an error in your order, contact us promptly. If we identify an availability, pricing or fulfilment issue, we will contact you to explain the issue and agree on the next step. Please contact us before ordering if a delivery date is essential.
Delivery
Our product listings currently advertise free delivery on orders over $300 and a $31.90 delivery fee on orders under $300. The delivery charge displayed at checkout applies to your order. Contact us if the checkout charge or delivery eligibility needs clarification.
Delivery estimates depend on product availability, dispatch and the carrier. If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us with your order details and, where helpful, photos so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate solution.
Installation and maintenance
Use the instructions for your product and roof type. Assess safe access and working-at-height requirements before beginning any work, and use a qualified installer where appropriate. Follow relevant building requirements and maintain your roof, gutters and mesh.
Gutter mesh helps reduce debris entering gutters. It does not eliminate maintenance, purify rainwater or make every product suitable for every bushfire application. AS/NZS 4020 drinking-water contact testing relates to material contact with water; rainwater quality also depends on the collection system, maintenance, filtration and treatment.
Product warranties
Refer to the warranty information for the product you purchase. High Performance Mesh and Universal Mesh carry a 20-year product warranty. Solar protection kits carry a 1-year warranty, while aluminium solar mesh carries a separate 20-year mesh warranty. These periods are additional to your consumer guarantee rights and do not set a time limit on those rights.
For warranty assistance, contact us with your order details, a description of the issue and any relevant photos. We will help assess the issue and explain the applicable warranty process.
Returns and Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and compensation where the law provides it. The remedy depends on the nature of the problem.
Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide return instructions. For change-of-mind returns, order changes or custom-length items, contact us to discuss the available options before sending goods back. These requests are considered separately from your rights for faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-compliant goods.
