Does a tile kit include corrugated saddles?
No. Tiled-roof kits use the tile-specific fitting method described in the installation guide.
How do I choose between a gutter and valley kit?
Choose the product for the installation area. A tiled valley has a different mesh-width and fixing arrangement from a standard gutter run.
Tiled-roof gutter guard helps reduce leaves and larger debris entering your gutters. Choose a kit for the roof profile, installation area and mesh specification you need. Gutter guard reduces maintenance; regular inspection and clearing accumulated debris are still needed.
What Comes in a Tiled-Roof Kit?
Standard tile gutter-edge kits contain mesh, gutter trims and screws. They do not use corrugated roof saddles. Check the contents for the length and mesh product you select. The Universal Mesh Tile kit includes one 1m trim and four screws per metre of kit length.
Compare the Three Tile Mesh Options
- Universal Mesh: expanded aluminium for general leaf and pest screening.
- High Performance Mesh: heavier-duty expanded aluminium for leaf and pest screening.
- Ember Mesh: woven aluminium for applications requiring the documented finer mesh specification.
Universal Mesh and High Performance Mesh are not suitable as ember guards. For a specified bushfire application, check the selected product’s supporting specifications and application limits. For rainwater collection, check the selected mesh’s water-contact testing and the requirements of the complete collection system.
Choose Lengths, Colours and Installation Area
The Universal Mesh Tile kit currently offers 5m, 10m, 30m and 50m options. Other products may offer different lengths; use the selector on the product page. Choose mesh colour and trim colour separately to suit the roof and gutter.
Measure gutter runs and valleys separately. Tile-valley kits use their own mesh width and fitting arrangement. Do not assume a standard gutter-edge kit will cover a valley.
