Fantastic system and excellent customer service. I must admit, I didn't pay close attention to my initial order and had actually ordered the wrong system from my roof. Luckily Brenden prior to dispatching the order realised what I'd ordered was not common. He rang me up straight away and we were able to diagnose my mistake and get it corrected. I even managed to pay less as a result. I have no hesitation in recommending these guys for ensuring you get the right system for your roof, and quickly. It was literally overnight from Melbourne to Brisbane.

Product was delivered pretty quickly and everything was well packed, the mesh is good quality and pretty easy to work with just gets a bit fiddly lifting the tiles and tucking the mesh under, i was doing the job myself but with 2 people it would be easier After i did the whole back gutter i got the hang of it. The strips that hold the mesh firm onto the gutter are a great colour match like the mesh and easy to work with, i fixed to the gutter first then tucked mesh under the second row of tiles then did silicone around the ridge capping last. All up im very happy with the quality of the total package, the mesh, strips, and screws, also the wider 1 metre valley mesh is a must to get the span you need to cover the vally properly and lastly its not that hard for the people out there that like to do things themselves. I recommend this product and glad i went with Aussie DIY

I have just used this firm for the first time and the experience has been nothing but positive, The price and quality of the product were great and Jeremy was very helpful both in helping me formulate the order and also in some installation advice when I encountered difficulties due to the location of a solar array on my tile roof. The order was also despatched quickly and arrived faster than the freight company's predicted ETA. I look forward to using Aussie DIY again for a couple of other projects later this year.

Great services. I contacted them by phone, and Jeremy was so helpful. Delivery was done in no time and perfectly package. In terms of product, I ordered gutter protection for all my house and sheds (130ml). Very easy to install, and looks awesome. I think the worse part is to clean the gutters before installing but very rewarding when thinking that will be no longer necessary to go into the gutters again!

I have a 4 bay shed and the gutters were getting continuously filled with leaves and sticks from the large gum tree in the neighbours yard. Cleaning the gutters was a lot of work as the downpipes would get clogged as well. I fitted this product back in 2020. Since then the gutters are staying clean. The rubbish now blows or flow over onto the ground. So it is much easier to just rake this up from time to time. Very happy with the the result and installation is straight forward.

We have a low angle slope on our roof and a high lip on our gutter so I wasn’t sure if the gutter guard would work as it might create a ‘valley’ where the roof meets the mesh. I rang and spoke to Justin (?) and he gave some great advice and suggested we get a custom width to help minimise the issue. There was no extra cost for this and the product arrived fast and was super easy to install. Really happy with the quality and so relieved I don’t have to get on the roof every few weeks to clean 32m of gutters!

Our gutter guard kits contain gutter guard mesh and fixtures, including aluminium trim, matching saddles and screws to secure everything to your specific roof type: corrugated, Trimdek®, Klip-Lok® and tile.

Please note; tiled roofs gutter guard kits do not contain saddles, as the mesh is installed under the second-row tiles.

Yes. All gutter guard kits have colour-matching options, and it’s simple. Select the trim colour to match your gutter colours, and select the mesh colour to match your roof colour. All saddles will correspond to metal roofs and mesh colours. We provide all the screws to match both trim and saddle colours.

Aluminium gutter guard is the metal of choice as they are more robust and non-reactant. The aluminium gutter guard’s extruding process offers more longevity and strength than steel welding.
Our Universal Mesh is made of high-quality aluminium, Colorbond® powder-coating that meets the standards for Australian architectural finishes. The coating deters rust and deterioration in the aluminium, prolonging the mesh’s lifespan.
Our powder-coating also prolongs the mesh colour preventing fading from weather and UV exposure. Our mesh is available in over 20+ Colorbond® colours.
Steel gutter guard systems are powder-coated, but the aluminium will rust more quickly as the coating breaks down. Steel mesh is a specified gutter guard product for bushfire-prone areas with BAL40 & BALFZ ratings.

Our 1-metre gutter guard kits are available to order per metre, which takes custom meterage sizes. All 1-metre kits come with a 5-metre minimum purchase. Our customer service team can also take custom orders for more complex projects. We recommend you contact a support team member to assist you with this process.

In most cases, the combination of the roof shape and gutter guard slope will encourage leaves and debris to fall to the ground in wind and rain. When trees with heavy or finer debris overhang the gutter guard, homeowners may need to gently sweep or blow the debris off the roof. If your gutters have a correct fall, dirt and small particles will flush out with water flow; if this is not the case, you may need to wash the gutters.

Please note gutter mesh is slippery on any roof type, do not walk on the mesh to reduce the chance of damage and a fall.

Various gutter guard solutions include gutter protection, bird proofing, bushfire protection and rainwater harvesting system. The installation steps are the same for each gutter guard solution. The installation differs between the tiled roof and metal roof types.

The metal roof gutter guard systems, Trimdek®, Klip-Lok®, and corrugated roofs, have identical installation steps, as the DIY gutter protection kits contain similar parts and materials. The critical difference between the kits is the saddles are designed to fit the roof shape.

Kits for tiled roofs do not have saddles; instead, the gutter guard mesh is tucked under the second row of tiles.
